Job DescriptionThe Grant Project Manager will oversee the strategic planning, implementation, and management of a large-scope grant that includes campus, local, regional and statewide work. This position will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of grant-funded initiatives, including the creation of a regional teaching and research incubator hub, expansion of Transformation and Reentry through Education and Community (TREC) enrollment within correctional facilities, establishment of a statewide organization on prison education best practices, and the development of on-campus programming that fosters community and belonging for justice-impacted students. The Grant Manager will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to advance these initiatives and ensure compliance with funding requirements.Responsibilities include, but not limited to:Work in collaboration with the TREC program Director to oversee the implementation of all grant-funded initiatives.Monitor grant budgets and ensure compliance with all funding requirements, reporting deadlines, and deliverables.Track project milestones, evaluate outcomes, and adjust strategies as necessary to achieve objectives.Serve as the primary point of contact for grant-related activities, coordinating with funders, institutional leadership, and external partners.Monitor expenditures to ensure compliance with grant guidelines and institutional policies.Develop financial reports and documentation for grant funders and internal stakeholders.Utilize grant initiatives to collaborate with institutional and facilities stakeholders to increase TREC programming and enrollment within correctional facilities.Salary Range:Grants Specialist Senior: $29.78 - $43.82 hourly / $62,181 - $91,496 annuallyMinimum QualificationsTwo (2) years of professional experience in grant management, project management, or program administration.Experience working with justice-impacted individuals or within prison education programs.Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Proficiency in grant reporting and compliance requirements.Demonstrates an ongoing understanding of cultural fluency. Minneapolis Community and Technical College (MCTC) is a public two-year college located in the heart of downtown Minneapolis. MCTC enrolls nearly 15,000 credit students annually and is an active partner in initiatives designed to strengthen the social, economic and cultural vitality of the Twin Cities metropolitan area.
