The University of Texas at Dallas has an excellent job opportunity for individuals looking to join our team as an Information Security Analyst in the Information Security Office.
As a member of the Engineering team within the Information Security Office, the Information Security Analyst will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the systems necessary to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, availability, and accountability of UT Dallas computer systems, networks, and information assets.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree with 1-3 years of progressive experience in an information security related role.
Experience architecting, implementing, and maintaining intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM, and Security Orchestration, Automation and Response tools.
Splunk development experience, including the correlation and normalization of data between disparate systems and dashboard creation
Experience integrating and automating information security processes and tools using programming APIs such as REST and SOAP.
Working knowledge of one or more programming or scripting languages such as Python, Java, or PHP.
Experience in the configuration and administration of Linux and Windows server systems
Incident response experience and familiarity with forensics tools such as EnCase
