UCR is seeking an Information Technology Security Supervisor level 2 with a specialized focus on healthcare compliance. This role provides direct supervision to IT security professionals and ensures adherence to regulatory frameworks, including HIPAA, HITRUST, CMIA, and other emerging federal and state mandates. The incumbent will play a critical role in shaping and implementing cybersecurity policies, evaluating risks, and ensuring compliance across the institution's healthcare-related operations.
The full salary range for this position is $100,100 - $190,500 annually. However, the budgeted pay salary for this position is up to $145,300. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.
This position works a hybrid schedule, with three days on-site at the UCR campus, and two days remote.

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience with an emphasis in computer science, data processing, computer information systems, or in a related field.
