Description: Responsible for the timely, accurate processing of data within Human Resources. The Human Resources Information Management Systems (HRIMS) Analyst ensures that transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled between different sources. 1. Compares records from different sources to identify and resolve discrepancies. 2. Oversees the process, review and analysis of various reports to include but not limited to; TRS Demographic reporting and TRS forms. 3. Reconciles and audits data integrity for leave plans, retirement plans, benefits programs as well as various HR/Benefits interfaces (Aflac, Retirement at Work, etc.). 4. Collaborates with internal employees and external vendors to review dual employment for active employees consisting of contacting agencies and determining proper Payroll and/or Benefits steps (forms, over-time, benefit eligibility, etc..). 5. Analyzes prior state service and takes action to resolve discrepancy issues. 6. Develops recurring and ad hoc queries and reports, maintaining data integrity through audits, queries and reconciliation of various reports. 7. Maintains data integrity of employee data in the Teachers Retirement System. 8. Develops, documents, revises and implements processes relating to HRIMS records and administration. 9. Work with the PeopleSoft human resources management system team to maintain an appropriate level of support for efficient human resources processes. 10. Prepares a variety documents to include but not limited to retirement plans, account reconciliation. 11. Coordinates with Payroll to ensure proper payment of employees in routine and complex cases. 12. Reconciles various deductions to state and vendor charges; analyzes contributions and deferral plans; coordinates corrections with departments. 13. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. MQ: Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Requires a minimum of one (1) year of directly job-related experience. |
