Description: The C.T. Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston seeks qualified applicants for one tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the area of finance focused on sustainable energy and the energy transition. Scholars with multi-disciplinary research interests in any of the following areas related to sustainable energy systems and energy transition are strongly encouraged to apply: energy markets, project evaluation, energy financing, risk management, and regulation. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work synergistically with faculty in an “Energy cluster” in the strategic area of Energy Transition being set up by the University of Houston—The Energy University. The participating colleges in this Energy cluster are: Cullen College of Engineering; Bauer College of Business; Hobby School of Public affairs; and the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in finance or economics, and exhibit promise for high-quality interdisciplinary research.
