Summer Research Opportunity - Center for Computing Sciences (CCS) SCAMP
Overview Each summer, CCS runs an intensive ten-week summer conference on applied mathematical problems (SCAMP). The 2024 SCAMP is tentatively scheduled to run from June 17, 2024 through August 23, 2024. The conference concentrates on one or two problem areas, typically related to mathematics, computing or communications, of critical importance to national security. We typically invite a dozen or two visitors to join forces with our research staff for these conferences. Our visitors are a very strong group of researchers in mathematics and computer science ranging in experience from graduate students to emeritus professors. We also occasionally invite exceptionally strong
