Job Summary: A Researcher I position is available in the Brasier lab in the Department of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. The lab studies mechanisms for how fibrosing lung diseases are caused, and development of novel methods for diagnosis and treatment. An area of focus is understanding the role of cellular reprogramming through epigenetics.Research projects include studies in cell model systems, quantitative and discovery-level proteomics, chromatin immunoprecipitation, and the development of unique cellular models to understand cell-extracellular matrix interactions. Candidates should have familiarity with CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing, siRNA silencing, protein biochemistry and nucleic
