The University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL) has an immediate opening for a Coordinator of Corporate and Foundation Engagement. Reporting directly to the Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations, this position will support the Corporate and Foundation Relations team. While this position will interface with multiple offices and academic units across campus, it will engage most extensively with staff in the Office of Research and Economic and Community Development, University Advancement, and Career Services.
Responsibilities: * Conduct research and prepare corporate and foundation information for profiles and other documents at the Corporate and Foundation Relations (CFR) team's request. * Condense large amounts of information from various sources into the essential information needed to qualify prospective corporate and foundation partners and/or develop effective strategies for existing and lapsed organizational partners. * Maintain, organize, and analyze information from internal strategy meetings. Prepare reports and briefings related to these meetings for collaborators and university leadership. * Prepare stewardship reports and monitor tracking system to ensure reporting requirements are met and gifts are acknowledged. * Assist the Advancement Services team with CFR-specific data projects, data analysis, and prospect management. * Prepare briefing materials for donor visits for the university leadership, Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations, volunteers, and other university representatives. * Provide administrative support for the CFR team through typing or proofing narrative documents, processing gifts, setting appointments and maintaining calendars. * Other responsibilities and tasks as assigned by the Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations.

A Bachelor's degree and 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
* Ability to understand and work within a large, complex organization with its established processes. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Strong computer skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to correctly proof and format documents. * Understanding of relational databases, data processing principles, and data analytics techniques. * Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. * Good judgement in setting priorities and working under multiple deadlines, courteous interpersonal skills and professional telephone skills. * Ability to work with people from a variety of culturally diverse backgrounds. * Strong sense of professionalism and respect for others. * High motivation and inclination to work in an intensely goal-oriented environment, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy. * Passion for UMSL's mission, a flexible team-oriented approach, and a service-oriented attitude. * Understanding of corporate structures and corporate and foundation philanthropy. * Proficiency in Adobe and LinkedIn strongly preferred. * Nonprofit work experience, including past experience with donor database(s), such as Ellucian Advance or online platforms such as iModules. * Data quality project experience. * Previous research experience is a plus.
