An IAM (identity and access management) professional, reporting to the director of information security, the Identity and Access Analyst plays a key role in the management and maintenance of the Grinnell College identity management processes and systems to ensure that Grinnell employees have the relevant level of access to institutional data required to perform their role.
This professional is responsible for the internal audit of IAM processes and the creation of documentation and training materials associated with IAM. The analyst may be part of the team delivering the training and will report on outcomes and metrics pertaining to the program.
This position is eligible to work remotely up to four days per week.

be responsible for the IAM ticketing workflow that requires cybersecurity decisions prior to access being granted/denied.
review and keep the Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) database of roles updated.
facilitate all privileged account decisions internally and externally.
prepare, review, develop curriculum, update program documentation, provide assessments, develop reminder tools, and create materials for IAM-related processes.
update and refresh the content of the Grinnell College LMS system(s) with relevant training material.
work closely with Information security team members to identify and collect relevant data for reporting.
present metrics in a user-friendly format to the team and make them available for systems security and cyber risk governance committee meetings.
