Job Description Position summary We are looking for self-driven individuals with great problem solving skills to fill an Associate position within the Operations group in Financial Risk Analytics. The successful candidate will be responsible for running and providing day-to-day customer support for all Risk as a Service suite of products. Our clients' service experience is a key priority for the firm. Candidates must be passionate about delivering excellence and best-in-class customer satisfaction.
The principal duties for this role will be to run RaaS daily jobs, manage the services and support questions and issues coming from the jobs' clients, working in close partnership with our Engineering Teams (Software and Financial), Cloud Teams and our IHS Markit Data providers.
Candidates will be able to demonstrate a resourceful and collaborative approach to problem solving, as well as the ability to handle difficult conversations with clients.
Duties & accountabilities - Direct interaction with FRA Clients globally to resolve technical and non-technical related queries, working in close partnership with our Financial and Software Engineering Teams.
- Monitor client runs to ensure they are within SLAs
- Troubleshoot errors and work with internal groups to provide resolution.
- Respond to client requests by providing detailed analysis and feedback.
- Work closely with internal teams for system enhancements.
- Onboarding new clients in a timely .
- Perform testing to ensure the product in UAT, pre-prod environment emulate the same design setup in the production environment as well.
- Develop and maintain productive client relationships.
- Coordinate across internal teams across global operations footprint to achieve positive outcome for client experience.
- Respond to client requests by providing detailed evaluation and feedback.
- Participate in the testing of system enhancements.
- Identify and track system issues, partnering with technology teams to ensure delivery.
- Customer service and satisfaction are key priorities for the firm. Candidates must be aware of the impact of their actions on internal and external clients.
Business and Technical Competencies - Preferably 2 years financial services experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge can be acquired.
- Preferably experience working with external clients directly.
- Previous experience of running Cloud jobs.
- Previous experience of coding in python
- Experience troubleshooting AWS issues.
- Knowledge of Buy or Sell side risk is a major plus.
- Ability to work in fast paced environment with client orientation.
- Ideally considering any candidate who can demonstrate a passion for technology, strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities and an eye for detail.
- Strong focus on Operational Control and Data Security
Qualification: - Undergraduate or Master's degree in a financial, mathematics, science or engineering discipline is essential
- Proven experience of providing a consistent first-class service to internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to take ownership of tasks, identifying the need for action whilst working effectively within a team
- Good English communication skills both written and verbal required for complex commercial and business discussions
