JOB SUMMARY
The role functions as a both a traditional technical project manager and a SCRUM Master within Global Technology's infrastructure delivery organization. The Sr. Project Manager will have responsibility for developing prioritization processes, communications but, more importantly will be responsible for resolving team level impediments, manage risks and issues, and drive continuous improvement throughout project lifecycles.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong track record of successful project and program management and will have a bias to relentlessly push to understand customer needs, balance user value with business value, and continually partner and deliver in a complex and fast-paced environment.
As a Scrum Master, will guide and facilitate teams through ceremonies, events, and meetings within the Agile team framework and help to drive the implementation and adoption of Agile best practices.
Required Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
- 7+ years of Information Technology experience preferably in an infrastructure setting
- 3+ years of formal Project Management experience ($500K+) in a highly complex, large-scale environment
- 2+ years' SCRUM experience
- 2+ year's direct technical experience in some or all of the following areas:
- Software Development
- Cloud technologies
- Network
- End-user technologies
- Information Security
- PMP or SCRUM certification

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plans projects, including requirements, cost, schedule, and deliverables to meet business need.
- Identifies project milestones and required tasks.
- Manages project risk and budget.
- Tracks project performance and escalates/provides early warning of risks to the project
- Formulates risk mitigation plans.
- Directs and coordinates activities of project team
- Informs the appropriate stakeholders of project status and issues
- Interfaces with vendor(s) for programs under direct control
- Creates, modifies, publishes and leverages standardized Agile Metrics to facilitate continuous improvement on the Scrum Team.
- Arranges and facilitates daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, story grooming, and demo/retro. Ensures quick inspection and proper use of an Agile process.
- Escalates and assists in the resolution of impediments.
- Facilitates release planning events for assigned Scrum Teams.

- Submits reports in a timely manner, ensuring delivery deadlines are met.
- Promotes the documenting of project progress accurately.
- Provides input and assistance to other teams regarding projects.

- Manages and implements work and projects as assigned.
- Generates and provides accurate and timely results in the form of reports, presentations, etc.
- Analyzes information and evaluates results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
- Provides timely, accurate, and detailed status reports as requested.
