Position Summary
The US Healthcare Market is presently a disconnected series of products and services that force customers to find ways to connect and synergize. Future market share and customer loyalty will belong to the company that can envision and execute a portfolio of interconnected products and services that synergize improving care and reducing the risk of harm to patients and healthcare staff while improving the economic value proposition.
The Manager, Marketing, is responsible for providing strategic leadership, from a market and product perspective, to the SCJP Healthcare business. You will facilitate the Healthcare leadership team through the process of identifying, documenting and executing a growth strategy for the business. You will do this by developing and maintaining a thorough portfolio analysis that identifies opportunities for growth, acquisition, investment, harvest and/or divestiture and working with leadership team to create and prioritize a strategic technology development plan for the business. You are a data-driven leader with success in end-to-end product marketing, from defining integrated marketing plans to campaign definition, marketing mix, and prioritization of customer segments. This is a core role at the heart of all operations, from product development to marketing to sales. You will be driving execution, reporting progress in a cross functional organization, and acting as the voice of the customer in business planning and execution.
In this role, the Manager, Marketing, will report directly to the Director, GM, Healthcare and will own the responsibility to build and deliver the Healthcare Customer Success strategy.
Primary Responsibilities
Will lead the division marketing teams in drafting, implementing, and evaluating cross-functional decisions that will enable the company to achieve its long-term objectives. Will act and think as a leader; align the department's values while inspiring confidence and generating excitement, enthusiasm, and commitment towards the mission.
Key Responsibilities:
Downstream Marketing:
- Brand: Develop and maintain a deep branding strategy based upon its core values and as executed through all design, copy, and communications. Responsible for ensuring the Company's competitive edge, identification, and recognition in the market.
- Content Marketing-Design-Messaging: Strategy and execution driving the multi-channel/multi-segment content marketing including value proposition, value creation, persona development, target audience development, channel/segment messaging as delivered by all mediums. Adherence to all QA/RA labeling, claims, and associated standards of compliance.
- Sales Channel Toolset and Training: Create strategy and tactics to execute all sales tools, brochures, training, presentations and product sell sheets to drive results direct and through channel.
- Communications: Strategy and execution driving the multi-channel/multi-segment public relations, keyword, content leadership, social media, and press release programs
- Creative: Leads creative development for all marketing assets, both visual and copy. Leads team concepting sessions with SMEs, researches and understands the latest creative, print, and digital tool trends to determine best fit to strategy and budget
- Digital: Develop and implement innovative marketing digital systems including CRM, Content Management System (CMS), sales asset management system, email automation, sales lead capture, website development, personalization, and analytics. Adherence to all company processes and security protocols.
- Tradeshow: Develop tradeshow/congress rolling calendar plan, assets, brand, & lead generation driving channel development, KOL podium presence and lead generation.
- Interacts Global Marketing to ensure product strategies, priorities, marketing programs, marketing communications and product positioning directives are consistent with Global Priorities
Upstream Marketing :
- Design Requirements: Provides collaborative leadership and support for the design, development, and implementation of product lines through the accurate provision of customer, KOL, governing body, and inside subject matter experts along with market customer, vertical, and distribution potential analysis.
- Provide support to the quality system to meet the recognized standards in accordance with business needs and requirements
- Conducts research and case studies on leading-edge technologies and makes determinations on the probability of implementation. Prepares and maintains technical specifications and related documentation to secure procedures and prevent system failure.
- Oversees and directs market research, competitor analyses, and customer retention monitoring processes and initiatives.
- Deeply interacts with the sales, regulatory, R/D, and product development teams to develop messaging, design requirements, inventory requirements, and labeling
- Lead product management to maximize profitability of the business
Leadership & Strategy:
- Develops initiatives to ensure annual profitability and growth in line with the company's strategic goals and 5-year plans
- Ensures up to date market research, including political, economic and environmental aspects, as well as industry and competitive analysis factors, to understand trends which affect the markets and hence the Company's long-term future.
- Contributes to improvements and programs that enhance customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction and adherence to compliance and code of conduct within the organization
- Benchmarks sales performance against key competitors and measure market share gains as well as success with key accounts
- Maintains an understanding of competition strengths and weaknesses as well as market trends
- Develops the Strategic and Annual Marketing Plans with Healthcare Leadership Team
- Participates in identification of additional markets, products and opportunities to sustain high levels of growth
- Maintain a climate that attracts, retains and motivates top quality personnel.
- Recruit, train, appraise, supervise, support, develop, promote and guide qualified personnel.
- Handle special assignments and work closely in concert with all members of the Executive Team.
