The Impact You'll Make in this Role
As a Senior Software Business Analyst you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Handling features of strategic scope and complexity.
- Leading and facilitating workshops with stakeholders, SMEs, and development teams.
- Independently defining and documenting user stories utilizing behavior driven development.
- Documenting technical system functionality.
- Partnering with team to build artifacts necessary to conduct concept testing/usability testing.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
- Ten (10) years of working experience in business systems analyst, with experiences in reporting solutions and/or web and mobile applications in a private, public, government or military environment
- Experience with design research techniques to understand the customer (e.g., interviews, contextual inquiry, usability testing, card sorting) in a private, public, government or military environment .
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Strong written/oral communication, and facilitation skills
- Strong analytical skills
Travel: May include up to 15% domestic/international
Relocation Assistance: May not be authorized
Location: Maplewood, MN and may consider remote US Work Location
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
