The Team: The team is responsible for building a platform that provides information, benchmark prices, analytics and Essential Intelligence for the energy and commodities market products for S&P Global Platts.

Work as a senior Android Mobile developer with strong hands-on mobile apps & Web apps development experience for entire software development lifecycle
You will design and execute user-facing features for the native app on Android devices by leveraging mobile operating system frameworks for multi-threading, persisting data, and managing user experience and graphics across multiple screen sizes
Work collaboratively with product owners, technology partners to understand and clarify requirements
Design and develop highly scalable Native mobile applications
You will provide technical leadership, driving and performing best engineering practices to initiate, plan, and execute large-scale, cross-functional, and company-wise critical programs

Bachelor's /Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent
A minimum of 8+ years of experience in software engineering building Mobile applications
Must have 4+ years of hands-on experience in Android Native application development using Kotlin, Android SDK, Java and React Native for Mobile, Tablet, Smartwatches...etc.
Minimum of 4 years of continuous and extensive hands-on experience with expert level use of the following web technologies: Kotlin, Android SDK, Java, React Native & RESTful API
Must possess a minimum 4 years of experience in creating, optimizing, integrating API calls and Familiarity with API design and client/server communication principles
Able to demonstrate strong Object-oriented programming skills
Proficient with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies like SAFe, Agile, Test- driven development
Excellent problem solving, analytical and technical troubleshooting skills.
Able to work well individually and with a team. Good work ethic, self-starter, and results oriented
Excellent communication skills are essential, with strong verbal and writing proficiencies
IOS Native application development using Swift or Objective C
Experience with Firebase, setting up Mobile CI/CD & applying/enforcing security standards
Experience in API development and using Micro services architecture with technologies like .NET Core, C#, Restful API, PostgreSQL, SQL Server & No-SQL databases
Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $91,500 to $190,100. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
