Job Description The SR. Advisor Data Engineer Cloud role with CVS is embarking on a multi-year journey to redefine the experience for patients and customers interactions. To support this effort, a cross-functional horizontal data engineering team has been formed within the various lines of business (PBM, Retail etc.). This team is tasked with rapidly building, testing, and scaling high-priority use cases that drive incremental business value. These use cases require significant advances in the analytical models, supporting data structures, and data features leveraged to deliver targeted interventions to patients and customers, influencing and building data products. As a core member of the data engineering team, you will be part of building the foundational analytics platform components and managing cloud components. You will also be working in performance re-engineering on a cloud platform and help with performance optimization of the data pipelines
Required Qualifications â¢ A minimum of 7 years of hands-on data management/operations and/or analytic experience â¢ A minimum of 3 years of experience in building enterprise level solution on Azure or GCP/AWS cloud environment with Azure Function, Azure Databricks, Azure Event Hub, Azure Event Grid, Azure data lake, Key Vault, Azure Data factory or on similar technologies â¢ A minimum of 5 year of experience on hands-on coding in python and/or pyspark on Azure Databricks environment â¢ Ability to communicate ideas and solutions to technical and non technical audience â¢ Comfortable working across crossfunctional teams â¢ Experience with data access, manipulations and statistical analysis through python and or PySpark â¢ Experience in using Terraform and/or similar infrastructure as code to provision environment on Azure â¢ Experience with Big Data / Analytics technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Python, Scala, R, Machine Learning â¢ Experience in DevOP CI/CD with gitlab, Jenkins, Nexus Repo, checkmarkrx, and or other quality control or security governance tools

Preferred Qualifications â¢ Certification in Azure, databricks, BigData, and/or other cloud solution. â¢ Strong knowledge of architecture and design patterns and the ability to apply them in analytics projects. â¢ Experieince in infrastructure and networking fundamentals â¢ Healthcare industry experience â¢ Experience on Reverse engineering on Excel Macro and VBA function solution
Education Bachelorâ™s Degree in Computer Science, Applied Math, Operation Research, Statistics, or other related field with 10 years of work experience; or Advanced Degree with 7 years of work experience
