All of this is critical to driving Digital growth and improving customer experience You will be a part of a large-scale architecture, product and engineering environment, leading, and developing technical solutions for enterprise platform spanning across one or more value streams, Agile Release Trains helping to ensure successful product
â¢ Work with Product and UX teams to be part of a team of engineers in developing elegant code, state-of-the-art customer experiences and build industry leading digital experiences. â¢ Lead solutioning for platforms that can span multiple value streams or Agile Release Trains, ensuring successful product deliveries. â¢ Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, and code. â¢ Participate in design reviews and provide recommendations for continuous improvement. â¢ Work with team to brainstorm and create new products. â¢ Make informed decisions quickly and taking ownership of applications at scale. â¢ Stay on the leading edge of development practices. â¢ Implement and influence best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and operations. â¢ Lead Proof-Of-Concepts and provide Reference Implementations. â¢ Provide technical guidance and mentoring to the fellow engineers in software design and development activities. â¢ Develop applications/web services and cloud native apps using Java/J2EE, REST API, Spring Core, Spring MVC Framework, Spring Boot Framework, Hibernate, Spring Security, Oracle and other tech stacks (Open source and proprietary). â¢ Unit testing using framework such as Junit, Mockito, JBehave. â¢ Build and deploy services using Gradle, Maven, Jenkins etc. as part of CI/CD process. â¢ Will be responsible for end-to-end application delivery including coordination with required teams for production deployment. â¢ Be an advocate of security best practices, champion and support the importance of security within engineering, partnering with Digital and Enterprise security teams and digital product owners to ensure compliance.
Required Qualifications â¢ We develop real products. You need to be an expert in design, coding and scripting We prioritize professional industry experience; advanced degrees alone do not replace real-world experience. â¢ 10+ years of overall IT/Digital development experience. â¢ 7+ years of Retail eCommerce applications. â¢ 7+ years of hands-on development experience using Oracle ATG Commerce, Java/J2EE applications using various Open source and proprietary frameworks â“ Spring, hibernate etc. â¢ 5+ years of experience in designing and delivering scalable microservices-based web/ webservices applications in cloud native environments. â¢ 2+ years of experience with cloud computing technologies. â¢ 5+ years of experience working large-scale databases using Oracle and other relational database technologies. â¢ Experience building in large volume subscription platform. â¢ Analytical thinking - able to simplify complex problems, processes or projects into component parts explore and evaluate them systematically. â¢ Be able to identify a vision along with the plans, which need to be implemented to meet the end goal, evaluating situations, decisions, and issues in the short, medium, and long term. â¢ Individually motivated to be able to see the big picture and prioritize their work to make the largest impact on the business and customers vision and requirement. â¢ Influence and persuade - able to present sound and well-reasoned arguments to convince others. Adapt to the situation and can draw from a range of strategies to persuade people in a way that results in agreement or behavior change.
Preferred Qualifications â¢ Experience with agile development, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experienced preferred â¢ Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) â¢ Experience in handling multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment â¢ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; thrives working in a highly iterative, agile, and open team environment â¢ Good understanding and working experience in IT Security best practices and other compliance standards such as ADA, HIPAA, PCI DSS
Education Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and years of experience required.
Masterâ™s degree preferred.
