Required Qualifications Lead Cloud Software Engineer - Basic Qualifications â¢ 10+ years experience designing, building, and deploying microservices using Java and Spring Boot â¢ 10+ years experience designing, building, and deploying REST/Web Service APIs â¢ 8+ years experience designing, building deploying cloud native solutions â¢ 5+ years experience developing solutions using Message Systems, including RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc. â¢ 4+ years experience with at least one document-oriented DB (MongoDB, CouchDB, etc) â¢ 2+ years hands-on experience writing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or similar IaC tools â¢ Experience maintaining complex, shared Enterprise Java services - security, logging, common APIs and enforcing coding standards. â¢ Hands-on experience with DevOps pipeline tools for code integration, automated testing, and deployment (Git, Jenkins/Groovy, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications â¢ Demonstrated ability to drive and articulate technical challenges and solutions. â¢ Demonstrated ability to create advanced architectures and sustainable solutions. â¢ Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality data pipelines through working in a dynamic, team-focused Agile/Scrum environment â¢ Experience collaborating with product and non-technical partners â¢ Experience with at least one RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL, RDS, Oracle, etc) â¢ Advanced knowledge of data structures, algorithms, distributed processing â¢ Advanced understanding of containerization environments and infrastructure (e.g Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) â¢ Strong working knowledge of machine learning algorithms in Spark MLlib, H2O, R or related libraries/packages â¢ GCP/AWS/Azure Certification(s) â¢ Graduate degree
