We are currently seeking a cleared Operations Research Analyst to analyze current and future conflict scenarios, develop and assess investment strategies for national security systems, and develop and assess concepts of operation.
You will work with senior leadership in multiple organizations on assessing and generating alternatives for US national security forces across all the conflict domains (air, ground, space, maritime, and cyber). Sponsors will range from specialized units in the DoD and IC to overarching Service and OSD organizations. This position requires the programming and application of analysis tools with a commensurate technical background, with the ability to generate and assess results and extract key lessons learned for senior audiences.
Generate alternatives for DoD and IC force structures.
Evaluate proposed DoD and IC force structures, fully accounting for adversary capabilities.
Be able to formulate and compute risks to missions and risks to forces for various conflict scenarios and force alternatives.
Characterize the uncertainties of future conflicts and develop robust alternatives across various futures.
Construct and execute analysis plans for the responsibilities listed above, including managing small teams of analysts.
Work with government sponsors as either a lead or supporting analyst.

BS degree in Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Systems Engineering, or other data sciences
8+ years of relevant experience
Must have the ability to possess/maintain a TS/SCI clearance
Proficiency and strength in verbal, written, presentation, and communications skills
Broad experience in DoD or IC force design and assessment
A desire to continually learn and master new concepts and technologies.
Ability to communicate highly technical issues to a wide variety of partner audiences, including senior leaders.
Advanced degree in in Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Systems Engineering, or other data sciences
Current/active Secret or higher clearance
Experience working with DoD organizations and processes
Operational or architectural familiarity with one or more major Joint capability portfolios, such as:
Space (e.g., satellite communications; position, navigation, timing; intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance)
Nuclear command, control, and communications
