The Impact You'll Make in this Role Oversees the day-to-day activities of Resolution team, Billing team, and other staff. Supervises, evaluates, and assists with hiring department personnel. Ensures all personnel are fully trained in the established procedures for dispute resolution and billing exception reporting. Provides management with regular reports on department performance and makes recommendations for improvements where appropriate.

Coordinate calls to customer or field personnel to obtain missing documents previously requested by the Resolution Specialist and other staff.
Responsible for supervisory duties and performance management of Resolution Teams.
Coach, develop, and counsel employees to effectively reach departmental goals.
Works with IT to ensure that existing processes are operating properly and to suggest improvement in processes.
Act as a contact person for the field personnel and customer as the result of escalated calls.
Act as a liaison between Facility team and Finance, Revenue Accounting, Customer Contract Group, and represent department at inter-functional meetings.
Oversee monthly special billing files are completed timely and accurately.
Review monthly billing, order and invoice dispute resolution for accuracy & completion.
Monitor daily performance of department personnel; coach and counsel as necessary.
Make recommendations with regard to hiring, training, and termination of staff.
Monitor bankruptcy, legal, and collection agency accounts to verify policy and procedures are followed.
Evaluate Problem Backlog Reports and relay pertinent information to corporate and field personnel.
Prepare performance evaluations and make recommendations for merit increases.
Manage and maintain accountability for all disputed A/R balances.
Reviews existing operating procedures, identify efficiencies, and recommends appropriate modifications to implement improvements.
Coordinates and manages all internal and external audit requests related to facility billing, orders and invoice dispute resolution.
Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
High School Diploma or Higher completed and verified prior to start from an accredited institution.
Three (3) years of accounts receivable or order management experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
Two (2) years of leadership or supervisory experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Bachelor's degree or higher.
Demonstrates ability to use strong analytical skills when making decisions based on sound research, client service, and profitability.
Ability to organize, manage and motivate employees to accomplish the assigned tasks and responsibilities.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to completely maintain confidentiality and discretion in business relationships and exercise sound business judgment
Ability to interact with individuals at all levels, strong time management and communication skills a must.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness and ability to participate in all required training programs.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment, as well as independently.
Ability to maintain complete confidentiality and discretion in business relationships
Travel: May include up to 5% domestic travel
Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
