The Impact You'll Make in this Role As a Global Portfolio Leader in Home Care Division , you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: - Driving the growth strategy and implementation for some of Home Care's core portfolios within the Scotch-Brite(r) retail business, ensuring the portfolios meet consumer and customer needs in priority regions around the world;
- Collaborating with cross-functional and Area teams to achieve global sales and gross margin operating plan targets for assigned portfolios, providing continuous support and guidance on portfolio direction and growth opportunities;
- Building the vision for long-term sustainable new product growth by creating and executing marketing deliverables for new products from discovery through launch;
- Leading key marketing initiatives that address brand, product, consumer and customer needs, including consumer insights plans, competitive analysis of direct and indirect competition, claims development, and global marketing planning; and
- Managing the health of existing, assigned portfolios, coordinating with cross functional teams on all related portfolio management issues including SKU rationalization, packaging changes, price corridors, and IBP Global Portfolio Review and global demand aggregation.
Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
- Five (5) years of combined experience in marketing, new product commercialization, and/or sales and business development
- Five (5) years of combined project management and/or cross-functional team leadership
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: - MBA or graduate degree from an accredited university, with focus on marketing, strategy, business development, and/or innovation
- Previous experience working on consumer products portfolios
- Knowledge or experience in mass retail, online, and other consumer channels
- Knowledge and interest in consumer behaviors and emerging consumer trends
- Experience with agile methodologies and/or working with start-up companies
- Ability to use analytics to take projects effectively from analysis to insight and implementation
