The Impact You'll Make in this Role As the Commercial Solution Division (CSD) Quality Manager, you will lead a team of Engineers dedicated to achieving industry leading quality capabilities, aimed at driving global customer satisfaction and success. The CSD Quality Manager will be responsible for the quality deliverables in Complaint Analytics and Resolution, New Product Development and Change Management. You will also be responsible for creating a Quality Management System that drives a quality first mindset and culture throughout the global organization.

Managing and developing the Quality Engineering and Quality Complaint Analyst team
Developing and implementing quality plans to ensure compliance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS)
Establishing and implementing strategic and operational plans to drive a quality first culture throughout the organization, leading to improved customer satisfaction
Ensuring quality processes and practices are harmonized globally and are effectively and efficiently resulting in reduced variation in our product and processes
Driving a best-in-class Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA) process for improved product quality and operational performance
Collaborating with global cross-functional teams to develop and lead quality initiatives that deliver improved product, process, operational and business performance
Supporting New Product Introduction teams with development of Linear House of Quality, CTQ test methods, and robust PPU, before commercialization
Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
Seven (7) years of Quality and/or Manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Experience in a highly regulated industry (such as Medical Device/Healthcare) is a plus
Knowledge of systems relevant to the Quality function (CFR, IMS, SCAR, CAPA, PLM)
Ability to lead internal and external audit activities
Change Management experience for programs with significant strategic importance
Continuous improvement experience (Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing)
Master's degree in a technical field from an accredited institution
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and create excellent collaboration
Demonstrated skills in customer and supplier management
Travel: May include up to 25%domestic/international
Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
