It all begins with you. Enterprise Finance drives financial management for the company and maintains and enhances risk and financial controls. Key functions within Enterprise Finance include finance and accounting; Treasury; corporate development, mergers, and acquisitions; Data Management and Insights, the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence, Enterprise Shared Services, Business Process Management, and Corporate Strategy. Enterprise Finance informs shareholders, regulators, taxing authorities, employees, and leaders of the company's financial performance through earnings releases, investor meetings and conferences, and meetings with regulators and credit rating agencies, following appropriate reporting guidelines. They also maintain and enhance risk and financial controls and lead many of the company's shared services functions including corporate properties, security, and global services. The Senior Consultant will be responsible for the completion of numerous functions and processes that are complex and requires an in-depth knowledge of Retail mortgage pricing and Retail Sales processes. The position requires skill in SQL, and complex data structures (MIDE) as well as proficiency in translating business needs to process design. Role also requires the ability to lead and drive projects. Key Responsibilities: - Support the Retail Business line in managing the Retail Pricing and Retail Repricing Non-Delivery Fee Policies. Developing monitoring/reporting for oversight, analyzing trends, providing recommendations for change, and risk identification with suggested mitigations.
- Serving as subject matter expert the following is expected; knowledge sharing of present and past processes, process improvement ideas, risk identification, and recommendations.
- Build out reporting and processes needed to support non-delivery fees (Extended Locks, Extension, Reprice, Return to Float, Reactivations, Duplicate Applications, etc). One of the critical processes built was for Reprice, Return to Float, and Reactivation requests.
- Supports litigation, remediation, Corrective Action, regulatory, and audit requests for Retail regarding Non Delivery Fees and Pricing. Support includes data gathering from multiple data sources; Retail Finance databases, Mortgage Integrated Data Environment (MIDE) Pipeline Optimization Portal, as well as serving as subject matter expert in meetings.
- Responsible for the implementation and coordination of new processes within the team and refinement of current processes.
- Development of inspection and validation processes to minimize risk and detect process improvements
Project Support - Retail National Discretion Desk analysis and development of monitoring/reporting
- Discretion Band, Discretion Reasons, Oversight, and Messaging within CORE
- Pipeline Optimization Portal sunset
- Numerous Corrective Actions

Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: analytics, reporting, financial modeling, statistical modeling, finance, or accounting; or a BS/BA or higher in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics or Business and 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: analytics, reporting, financial modeling, statistical modeling, finance, or accounting demonstrated through work or military experience
- 2+ years experience designing and optimizing complex SQL queries involving table joins and correlated sub-queries on large scale data tables
Desired Qualifications
- A BS/BA degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis
- Ability to incorporate multiple data sources and develop strategies/operational processes
- Knowledge and understanding of data organizing or structuring complex data across varied data sources
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to translate and summarize complex data into understandable, actionable information and recommendations
- Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to be flexible and adjust plans quickly to meet changing business needs
Other Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience creating visual reports with one or combination of the following: SSRS, Tableau, or PowerBI
- Knowledge and understanding of the Retail Finance Database and CORE Base/MIDE data as well as the capability to access and utilize SQL, Teradata as well as Access and Excel
