Enterprise Function Technology (EFT) is seeking a Software Engineer that acts in the highest-level technical role as an individual contributor and/or team lead for the most complex computer applications and/or application initiatives. Utilizes a thorough understanding of available technology, tools, and existing designs. Works on the most complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of intangible variance factors. Plans, performs, and acts as the escalation point for the most complex platform designs, coding, and testing. Leads most complex multiple modeling, simulations, and analysis efforts. Acts as expert technical resource to programming staff in the program development, testing, and implementation process. Immediate focus areas of this position will include but not limited to the following:
Knowledge of Liquidity Risk Management solutions that require extensive integration between People, Process, and Technology. As well as, critical internal Risk Management, Collateral Management and Resolution & Recovery.
Maintain strong risk and security compliance for the application portfolio.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- 5+ years of Informatica experience
- 5+ years of Oracle experience
- 5+ years of PL/SQL experience
- 5+ years of experience delivering complex enterprise wide information technology solutions
- 1+ year of experience leading the requirement design process with both technical and business partners
- 5+ years of ETL, data warehouse and data analytics delivery experience on internal or external cloud platforms
- 5+ years of data modeling experience
- 2+ years experience designing and optimizing complex SQL queries involving table joins and correlated sub-queries on large scale data tables
Desired Qualifications
- An industry-standard technology certification
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- 5+ years of web applications experience
- 5 + years of experience with computer programs including, but not limited to, Microsoft Excel, VBA (Visual Basic for Applications), Cognos or Tableau
- 5+ years of Agile experience
- 5+ years of JIRA experience
- Financial industry experience
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
- 2+ years of leadership experience including coaching, training and mentoring
- Knowledge and understanding of relational database designing schema, stored procedures, and views for performance with large data sets
- Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills with ability to turn findings into strategic imperatives
- A BS/BA degree or higher in information technology
