The Wealth and Investment Management Technology group is looking for an experienced Engineering Analyst. The Engineer will work closely with other developers and business partners to deliver critical functionality for our users. This individual must be able to handle multiple ongoing Agile features/stories and possess a strong combination of analytical, assessment, organizational and relationship management skills; he/she must be capable of working successfully with a wide variety of stakeholders such as application owners, scrum masters, systems architects, application developers and business partners. The Engineering Analyst skills requires a full stack developer skill set to create and support applications our Financial Advisors use on a daily basis. The selected candidate will be heavily focused on building enterprise web applications using AngularJS. Using HTML5/Javascript front ends with .NET/JAVA Web API consuming WCF web services. The role will primarily develop the UI and/or back-end software. They will also be responsible for creating automated unit and functional tests, create test data, and ensure all testing is adequate. The team also practices and develops within an Agile Train framework. Selected candidate will be required to work within the following Wells Fargo location: 1 N Jefferson Ave. Saint Louis, MO 63103-2205. Required Qualifications
- 6+ months of experience in the design and development of technology solutions demonstrated through work, military, or education
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ year of Agile experience
- 1+ year of RESTful or SOAP web services
- 1+ years of experience developing Single Page Architecture (SPA) web application using ASP.NET MVC, Knockout, Javascript, or JQuery, or with frameworks such as Angular.JS or HTML 5
- 1 + years of .Net and Java application development experience or a combination of both
- Git or GitHub experience
- Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex technical problems
- Strong, clear and concise written and oral communication skills
Other Desired Qualifications
- Understanding of continuous integration and Modern build pipelines
- Understanding of unit and functional test automation
- Familiar with JIRA or similar agile work flow software.
