The Compliance, Legal, Audit & Regulatory (CLAR) Technology provides technology support and development for Legal & Data Controls, Compliance Risk & Audit, Financial Crimes, Front Office and Second Line Risk, Employee Compliance, Regulator Regulations, Market Surveillance, and Regulator Change Management. This position is in the Currency Transaction Reporting team (CTR) within CLAR Technology division at Wells Fargo. This team supports the Risk line of business and utilizes the Actimize CTR Solution, including supporting custom java and PL/SQL based application code. This position will fill a key role on the team to provide development support and oversight of various ETL conformance processes and java based applications. The successful candidate will have strong experience with Java technologies including Vaddin, perl scripting, and PL/SQL. Experience with NICE Actimize Risk Case Management (RCM) or Analytics Intelligence Server (AIS) or CTR is a plus. They should also have strong communication skills and be able to collaborate with technical and non-technical partners. The candidate will have the opportunity to thrive in a flexible/agile application development environment.. Position Responsibilities and Expected Outcomes:
Acts in a lead technical role providing technical guidance and consultation with application teams, clients, and Engineering Managers for their technology domain environments including but not limited to cloud, middleware, operating systems, applications, Software-as-a-Service, and Platform-as-a-Service products.
Designs, codes, tests, debugs and documents programs using Agile development practices.
Provides the strategy and design for projects associated with their technology domain including, upgrades and deployments.
Utilizes advanced technologies and methods to integrate their technology domain with other technology domains, enabling the creation of new or expanded heterogeneous environments.
Develops new documentation and departmental technical procedures.
Directs the gathering of performance statistics to assist in determining hardware and communication tools needed to support projected transaction volumes, response time and system availability targets.
As an escalation point, provides guidance and direction to less experienced staff in resolution of highly complex technical problems.
Leads projects and manages the work of less experienced staff.

Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported technology domain.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Programming experience
- 5+ years of advanced scripting experience using Unix Shell Scripting, Perl, Python, Java, or PL-SQL
- 5+ years of PL/SQL experience
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
Desired Qualifications
- A BS/BA degree or higher in science or technology
- Knowledge and understanding of emerging data platforms and analytic tools Hadoop, Aster, and R
- Knowledge and understanding of technology support or engineering: overall messaging systems
- 2+ years of Java experience
- 3+ years of Agile experience
- 5+ years of Oracle experience
- 5+ years of onshore application development process experience
- 5+ years of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Programming experience with Ab Initio products such as EME, Control Center, Metadata Hub, or Conduct IT
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- An industry-standard technology certification
