The Digital Technology and Innovation group supports the Corporate Strategy, Digital Platform & Innovation Business. Together they work closely to continue evolving Wells Fargo's digital platforms and enhance integration of the innovation pipeline into our customer-facing capabilities. Digital Application Release Engineering (DARE) team is responsible for providing automated/self-service tools for Wells Fargo Digital Platforms, so it enables agile teams to deliver new capabilities to our Wells Fargo customers at rapid speeds. DARE team is responsible for Services including environment provisioning, source code repository management, Customer Integration and Continuous Delivery(CI/CD), blue green deployments, middle-ware engineering, application configurations and production roll-out. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with an excellent focus on developing automation solutions or self-service tools for continuous integration and delivery of web applications using industry standard frameworks. This position requires strong analytical skills to analyze processes and identify automation opportunities, optimize existing solutions to enable faster delivery of services. Roles and Responsibilities: The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for automating solutions around how application and infrastructure code changes gets built, packaged, assembled, deployed, monitored and alerted on in our preproduction and production environments. - Deep understanding of industry SDLC standards to analyze existing standards in Dev ops and augment the standards
- Work closely with developers on a daily basis to design solutions around continuous integration and continuous delivery.
- Work with a team of engineers through technical analysis, design, construction, deployment and support of scalable software delivery automation solutions. Conduct design and code reviews as part of the solution development process
- Provide expertise in many layers of the Application and Infrastructure stack, being able to adapt to changing tools and technologies quickly, initiative and eagerness to learn new technologies.
- Develop CI/CD solutions around application built using Apache Storm or Flink frameworks
- Coaching and mentoring of other DevOps engineers
- Stays up to date with DevOps technologies.
- Take technical leadership on new initiatives around DevOps areas and provide thought leadership on these new initiatives.
- Ability to communicate with technical groups effectively.

Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of software engineering experience
- 5+ years of build-deploy automation and configuration experience within the Linux and Unix environment
- 7+ years of experience with Linux OS environment
- 5 + years of experience troubleshooting environments across the entire architecture (i.e. applications to infrastructure)
Desired Qualifications
- An industry-standard technology certification
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- 3+ years of ANT or Maven experience
- 5 + years of experience with server administration and job creation using Jenkins Continuous Integration server
- 3+ years of JIRA experience
- 2+ years of Splunk experience
- 3+ years of Python experience
- Knowledge and understanding of AppDynamics
- Knowledge and understanding of automation and engineering release development
- 5+ years of source or version control tools experience
- 5 + years of experience developing or supporting IT Service Management solutions
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong collaboration and partnering skills
- Ability to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations
Other Desired Qualifications
- Experience in deploying/provisioning and supporting applications in private or public cloud environments
- Good understanding of micro-services architecture and various components and their configuration
- Understanding of chaos engineering
