Corporate Properties Technology supports Wells Fargo's Corporate Properties Group (CPG) responsible for the management of Wells Fargo's Real Estate portfolio. One of CPG's key focus areas is understanding how team members utilize space and how to enhance the team member and customer experience when interacting with a Wells Fargo location. Analytics plays an important role in understanding how space is utilized, who uses space and future space needs.
The Corporate Properties Technology team has a position for an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst/Engineer. This position will partner with CPG's centralized analytics team to manage requests for a variety of analytics that support the Enterprise workplace strategy and real estate portfolio management and collaborate with functional business areas, strategic leaders and technology teams to assess business needs and make strategic recommendations for the BI technology road map. Additional duties include, collaborating with CPG Analytics team to prioritize work efforts and manage request backlog, providing leadership and oversight to off-shore Application System Engineers for the development of SSIS packages, transformation and cleanse logic, and database tables and view. In addition, position will engage with various Enterprise technology teams to facilitate the acquisition of new data and manage risks associated with new data acquisition, such as, updating data classification records, ensuring encryption requirements are met (if applicable) and understanding Global Data Protection impacts. Role is also responsible for management of on-going production releases ensuring all Wells Fargo software development life-cycle policies are met, documenting requirements and functional specifications, validating solutions and coordinating end-user validation.
The current suite of Business Intelligence solutions includes back-end data warehouses (SAP Business Warehouse and SQL) and several front-end analytic tools, including, WEBI, Tableau, MS Excel, MS Access, etc.
The qualified candidate should have proven experience and expertise in the implementation of Business Intelligence data warehousing and analytics solutions and a thorough understanding of ETL process development, dimensional and relational database modeling/design, star schema data architecture, data profiling and system optimization. A solid understanding of the E2E software development life-cycle and production support pipeline management. Ability to work with multiple project managers, business partners, technology partners and vendors to drive secure, cost effective and efficient solutions.
