This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military environments to a 3M career.
The person hired for the position of Manager Quality and Training will use tools and methodologies to enhance our business and financial performance by systematically responding to customer needs, implementing/ improving on existing transactional quality programs, recommending solutions to improve or streamlining the Order to Cash cycle, and lead the OTC organization through training all staff on new tools in 2021/2022. This position requires a high level of interaction and partnership with business owners to ensure both the Training and Quality/Audit functions are meeting the customer's needs in a compliant manor. The ability to emphasize and promote the Corporate culture and customer centric approach is also required.
The Impact You'll Make in this Role include but are not limited to the following:
Leading up to 15 -20 direct and matrixed teammates
Building & maintaining good relationships with business partners at all levels of Management
Implementing/ improving on existing transactional quality programs
Promoting Corporate Culture and customer centric approach
Responding to customer needs and recommending solutions to improve streamlining the order to cash cycle
Interacting and partnering with business owners to ensure Training and quality functions are met
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
Two (2) years of experience managing people and/or teams in a private, public, government or military environment
Three (3) combined years of experience in Call Center / Order to Cash / Revenue Cycle Management, Quality and/or Training Experience in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Finance, or Healthcare Administration from an accredited university
Ability to work with cross functional teams and across multiple functions and disciplines
Effective facilitation, communication and teaching skills
Ability to multi-task and handle large workloads under time constraints
Ability to understand and apply analytical and statistics tools
Results oriented with strong process and execution skills
Advanced knowledge of Management Information Systems (i.e. MW, Excel, PowerPoint)
Travel:May include up to 20% domestic
Relocation Assistance: Not authorized
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
