Senior level team member responsible for business solutions, technical operations, maintenance and relationship management between Trust Systems vendors, technical support teams, and business lines for Trust systems applications. These applications include Innovest, Charles River Development, Advent Moxy, and SEI/Trust 3000. This person will provide leadership and strategic solutions to business lines, enterprise technology teams, vendors, and support teams for the peripheral Trust interfacing applications. Act as a liaison between vendors, Trust business lines, and the technical organization by conducting, planning and directing the analysis of highly complex business problems. Ability to flush out root-cause assessments, current state, prioritizes, and recommends short-term and long-term strategic solutions.
Provide subject matter expertise with the business and operations requirements. Directly assist with production support needs as necessary. Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and implementing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements. Applies knowledge of trust and technology industry trends to drive change and position Wells Fargo for the future. Act as the highest-level internal consultant within technology and business groups by re-engineering and automating technical processes and tools for greater efficiencies with significant impact to the business. Extensive understanding and knowledge of trading applications, preferably Charles River certified and Moxy experience. Knowledge of SEI Trust 3000 is required to support our integration with trading systems.
Additional position responsibilities:
Support the general trading platforms Moxy and Charles River for all users and assist in answering application questions
Resolve issues getting trades to process for managers and Traders
Assist the Equity, Fixed Income and STAM traders with trading questions and problems
Support large quarterly rebalances and tactical shifts along with daily trade imports files from decision support applications (Fiserv IMS, Scanner, FIST)
Update tables for trade restrictions, cash buffers, and account group.
Accounts group updates to allow IM's and IS's to do block trading
Establish new broker FIX connections and resolve problems/issues with them, work with Vendors SEI, CRD, and internal WF teams.
Updates to brokers table and auto-route percentages on brokers to allow trades to route directly to brokers w/o Equity Desk having to direct trades
Update securities and other codes for missing info (i.e. prices, interest rates, descriptions, other security details), work with Trust Operation teams on items not updated on Trust 3000
Assistance to IM's and IS's with asset/account modeling
Update commission rates when instructed by Equity Desk, either to raise or lower the rates.
Update brokers commission schedules with correct commission rates for trading
Daily distribution of Broker Allocation and Broker Summary reports to Equity, Fixed Income Desks and the STAM group and weekly distribute of maintenance reports to several groups (RISK, PI, Abbot Downing)
Manage new vendor release installs for Moxy, work with other partners for Charles River release items (DEV, CC team, Line of Business, IMast)
Ability to present functions and aid with large user groups (several hundred) for trading demos
Direct and serve as a mentor to less experienced staff.
Participate on On-Call as needed, SEI Disaster Recovery and Wells Fargo Bank BCP exercises
3+ years of trust experience
3+ years of trading systems development or implementation experience
2+ years of experience with configuration, administration or batch processing of Charles River (CRD) platform
7+ years of systems support analysis experience demonstrated through work or military experience
4+ years of experience working in managed services as demonstrated through work, military, or education
Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
Ability to synthesize complex analytical findings into executive level communications
Ability to think strategically, implement, and deliver business objectives
Ability to interact effectively at varying levels of the business and technical organizations; including management
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong team or technical leadership experience
Experience supporting technology at an enterprise-level
