The Customer, Deposits, Analysis and Debit Card technology group, as part of the PVSI technology organization, is seeking a highly motivated Software Sr Engineer experienced in Mainframe and Hogan applications (Umbrella, Integrated Deposit Systems - IDS, Time Deposit Account- TDA, CIS -Customer Information System) to deliver training for new hires, internal transfers and existing staff (both onshore and offshore)
Job Duties include but not limited to: Developing and delivering technical training in a virtual or classroom setting, continual evaluation/update of training materials, coordination of training courses, and adjustment of training for audience/class.
Act as Hogan SME in a mainframe programming training environment
Maintain and/or modify training documentation ensuring desired learning outcome
Delivering creative topical programming exercises that reinforce and ensure learning
Assessing group and individual learning and adjusting to ensure success
Communicate effectively across teams and develop sound working partnerships
7+ years of Cobol experience
7+ years of Hogan experience
7+ years of mainframe experience
7+ years of software engineering experience
Experience leading, training, and providing feedback to staff and corresponding managers
Learning and development experience
Knowledge and understanding of Endevor
Knowledge and understanding of Java
Knowledge and understanding of Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex technical problems
Advanced problem solving and technical troubleshooting capabilities
Experience delivering software training using a variety of delivery methods including: face-to-face classroom, web-conferencing, and virtual hands-on classroom
Experience with Waterfall and Agile project methodologies
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
An industry-standard technology certification
Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment
Ability to travel domestically
Ability to work outside of regular business hours
