Job Description: It's an exciting time to be part of Wells Fargo's Deposit Operations and Credit Bureau Technology team. This newly created position will help shape and transform Wells Fargo's Enterprise Credit Bureau management technology solutions. This position plays a vital role in designing and standing up a best-in-class systems solution supporting our Credit Bureau Management and Reporting Office. This position will play a key role in designing and delivering the strategic solution as we transform distributed solutions into an elegant centralized solution for the newly formed Deposit & Credit Bureau Management Office. The position will leverage strengths in collaboration with senior technology leaders, Architects, business partners, external vendors, and Professional Services teams to design and stand up a central data store, case management system, reporting and analytics environment, and elegant interface with powerful and reusable services. Primary deliverables for this position include solid architecture designs and implementation plans, hands-on participation in agile teams where leadership is expected, and mentor-ship and guidance for development teams toward the common goal. The position requires a senior resource with the necessary communication and networking skills to drive discussions and work with teams across the Enterprise for collaboration and collection of detailed information. The position will report into the Deposit Operations & Credit Bureau Technology Manager within the Deposit Operations & Debit Card Technology department.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Analyze highly complex business requirements, design and write technical specifications to design or redesign complex computer platforms and applications.
Provide coding direction to less experienced staff and develop highly complex original concepts and solutions.
Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts.
Verify program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, Proof of Concepts, testing and debugging of programs.
Oversee overall solution testing and the migration of platforms and applications to production.
Develop new documentation, departmental technical procedures and user guides.
5+ years of software engineering experience
5+ years of experience delivering complex enterprise wide information technology solutions
5 + years of experience developing or supporting IT Service Management solutions (e.g. Incident Management, Change Management, Asset Management and Configuration Management)
5+ years of experience working with Relationship Database Management Systems (RDBMS) such as SQL Server, Oracle or MySQL
5+ years of experience with continuous integration tools such as Anthill or Jenkins
An industry-standard technology certification
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Credit reporting or analytics experience
Ability to articulate a complex problem, design, or build strategy
Knowledge and understanding of compliance risk in the financial services industry
Experience with design, implementation and governance with Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing or Machine Learning Architecture
Experience with Agile Scrum (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning and Sprint Retrospective meetings) and Kanban
Experience with broad spectrum of financial products and services to consumers and businesses
Other Desired Qualifications
3+ years of experience working with Case Management solutions such as Pega, Actimize, or equivalent
