Wells Fargo Technology Technology Strategy, Planning, and Analytics The Business Initiatives Consultant position will be part of the Embedded IT Sustainment team. Primary job functions include managing multiple detective and monitoring controls, tracking and reporting on control related metrics, providing support to cross functional teams working on control initiatives related to controlling technology risk outside of WF Technology.
Specific responsibilities include the following:
Responsible for managing processes related to detective and monitoring controls
Analysis of multiple analytical reports and coordinating findings with the appropriate technology resources
Tracking and reporting on progress related to the resolution of any findings
Process reviews, analysis, evaluations, and validation with a focus on process improvements
Act as liaison to technology risk management resources to resolve any process issues
Track and report on key performance indicators and assist in the escalation and resolution of any indicators that have been exceeded
Execute and assist in process Effectiveness reviews
Manage policy related updates and support any efforts related to the interpretation of policy related to Embedded IT
Manage the Technology Governance for Embedded Information Technology Policy exception process including the input and closure of exceptions requests
Employ a wide range of tools and tactics to ensure information reaches target audiences with appropriate and measurable impact.
6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning
5+ years of change management experience
5+ years of financial services experience
Other Desired Qualifications
2+ years of experience in the following: administrative support, business operations, strategic planning demonstrated through work experience
Ability to shift priorities as work flow/volume dictates
Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Experience with pulling and analyzing large sets of date
Experience with Tableau reporting solutions
Extensive knowledge and understanding of analysis and enhancement of processes to accomplish business objectives
Ability to effectively prioritize multiple initiatives in a fast paced environment
Experience leading and facilitating meetings
Ability to consult, build, and maintain solid working relationships in and outside of immediate department
Experience building partnerships and consulting effectively with leadership
Exceptional critical thinking skills, specifically with the ability to continually learn complex line of business processes and then assess for effectiveness
Prior experience with a demonstrated understanding and working knowledge of Operational Risks and Controls
Ability to effectively partner and influence at the executive level
Ability to facilitate executive reviews
Ability to research, compile, and present critical operational date in executive summary form
Ability to quickly and accurately execute tactical deliverables
