Enterprise Finance drives financial management for the company and maintains and enhances risk and financial controls. Key functions within Enterprise Finance include finance and accounting; Treasury; corporate development, mergers, and acquisitions; Data Management and Insights, the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence, Enterprise Shared Services, Business Process Management, and Corporate Strategy. Enterprise Finance informs shareholders, regulators, taxing authorities, team members, and leaders of the company's financial performance through earnings releases, investor meetings and conferences, and meetings with regulators and credit rating agencies, following appropriate reporting guidelines. They also maintain and enhance risk and financial controls and lead many of the company's shared services functions including corporate properties, security, and global services.
Due to the recent reorganization of Wholesale Banking into the Commercial Banking and the Corporate & Investment Banking operating segments, the Business Support Finance group within Enterprise Finance has a new opportunity for two Finance Lead Consultants to provide financial planning and analysis support.
The candidates will join a small existing team of financial professionals that work with the business support finance teams and the reporting & forecasting COEs to provide critical financial analysis and reporting. The positions will not have direct reports but will work closely with the current team and will serve as the lead support partner focused on the needed reporting and analysis to support the consolidated operating segments. The successful candidates will have broad experience in loan and deposit reporting, treasury management product knowledge, capital markets product reporting, detailed understanding of both direct and indirect expenses, etc. The position will require frequent communication with various line of business finance teams and business leaders and a willingness to investigate business drivers. In addition, the candidate will be expected to create mutually beneficial relationships with the various Centers of Excellence staff, Investor Relations, and Group Controllers departments, etc.
Some of the specific tasks include: Quarter/Monthly Close support, 9 Quarter Forecast analysis, CCAR support, Resolution Planning, Model Governance, Management Reporting oversight, Investor Relations/10Q/10K support, CEO Operating Review preparation, Ad-hoc Reporting/Presentation development as needed
7+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: finance, accounting, analytics or reporting
A BS/BA degree or higher in one or a combination of the following: Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or Reporting
Ability to manage effectively in a matrixed organization
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
