We are currently looking for an experienced Endpoint Security Analyst.Â Experienced in either endpoint security or Infrastructure Security/Systems Administration is required. In this role, you will:
Assess and build high-level endpoint security programs translating business needs
Architect operational structure, and compliance and/or regulatory requirements into cost-effective and risk appropriate controls, processes, and procedures tailored to our ITS needs.
Identify and optimize programs and services in an effort to reduce costs associated with managing infrastructure level vulnerabilities.
Utilize CIS Benchmarks, and other frameworks Â
Internally control risk management, IT controls, business and information technology security management processes by leveraging best practice and leading edge technologies.
What it takes to be an Endpoint Security Analyst
Bachelorâs degree or combined education/experience as substitute for minimum education
Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Information Security.
Worked with work streams on engagements related but not limited to endpoint security including mobile threat defense, endpoint detection and response, and system hardening. Large scale system management through technologies such as mobile device management, Windows, Linux, macOS and/or other technologies used to manage thousands of systems throughout the USC Enterprise.
Provide technical guidance, architecture, installation, configuration, and/or operation for solutions used across the entire lifecycle of endpoint security. including provisioning, securing, monitoring, remediating, reporting, ticketing as well as the integration and automation of these various components.
Provide input and direction on overall market offering(s) related to endpoint security and play an active role in evangelizing, building and developing various strategy and technology implementation projects as well as contribute as an active role in developing resources and designing delivery capacity across our global enterprise.
Implementation and operational best practices while taking ownership of projects work streams and communication challenges within the organization , as well as perform analysis and diagnosis related to technology configuration and setup.
Must have working knowledge and experience with review/analysis of alerts and events from endpoint protection technologies.
Demonstrated understanding of endpoint devices protection concepts; including anti-virus, configuration updates, patch management, host based firewalls, and host based IDS.Â

Demonstrable knowledge of programming languages and operating systems, and current USC equipment and technologies in use. Ability to plan, organize and document complex system design activities. Ability to configure systems to be consistent with information security policies/procedures. Strong ability to communicate technical/complex information, both verbally and in writing.
