ResponsibilitiesAs a part of the IT Security Team the Security Analyst 4 will be working to educate, report on, and reduce enterprise risk within the organization. Working closely with partners and customers to advise on new technology projects and directions. Collaborate with UC Health, UCOP and UC Davis campus organizations on system wide initiatives. Presenting to staff, leadership, and partners to increase Cyber-security awareness using a variety of tools and methods, with a goal of embedding a security mindset into the organization's culture. Required Qualifications
3-5 years demonstrated experience administering security controls and standards (NIST, CIS, ISO, PCI) configurations hardware, software and networks.
3-5 years demonstrated experience performing IT Security risk assessments.
2-3 years of operational hands-on experience with IT security systems and tools (IPS, SIEM, Firewall systems.
2+ years of hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools (Nessus/Counter Measures.
Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise-level end point protection, encryption, and management technologies.
GIAC, ISACA, Security focused certifications.
Preferred knowledge of HIPAA, HITECH regulations and healthcare-specific policies and procedures
Familiarity with the UNIX/Linux operating systems and its basic operations.
PowerShell scripting experience.
Experience in incident response and digital forensics including data reporting.
In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software and network security issues and approaches.
This position is expected to carry and respond to cell phone 24/7/365.
Must be able to work alternate shifts, including nights and weekends, to meet project, or incident response demands.
This position may be subject to a criminal background investigation, drug screen, Live Scan fingerprinting, medical evaluation clearance, and functional capacity assessment.
