The primary responsibilities involve instruction of general and upper level chemistry courses in the candidate's area of expertise (organic, inorganic, physical, or analytical chemistry). Workload is 2-3 course sections per semester or their equivalent. Start date for the position is August 1, 2020, but June 1, 2020 is also possible if the candidate would like to assist with summer courses. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and will be full-time salary with full-time benefits. The term of this appointment will be three academic years with the possibility of renewal. Ph.D. in Chemistry is required by appointment start date. Demonstrated teaching experience, as well as experience with appropriate laboratory safety measures and practices are required.
