The Physics Department at Missouri University of Science and Technology (Missouri S&T) invites applications for a postdoctoral research associate position, starting on or before December 1, 2019 in the field of theoretical atomic physics/quantum field theory, or related disciplines. The successful candidate should have expertise in gauge field theory develop an interest m atomic physics, and be well versed in large-scale analytic calculations and numerical algorithms. The appointment will initially be for one year, with a possible extension for another year.
The Missouri S&T Physics Department has active research programs in atomic physics, condensed matter physics and astrophysics.
