IT SECURITY ANALYST II , Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) , to improve the security posture of the Institute by analyzing complex problems and developing solutions. Will focus on monitoring multiple security technologies to detect security incidents, leading investigations and responding to incidents, and recommending the appropriate information security controls and measures to mitigate threats and vulnerabilities. Will collaborate with teams across the Institute on security related projects to support information security, risk management, compliance, and security governance.
REQUIRED : a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or other related field; at least three years of relevant experience with knowledge of s ecurity issues, techniques and implications across computer platforms; understanding of network protocols, secure coding practices, ethical hacking and threat modeling. Strong analytical skills with the ability to breakdown raw information and undefined problems into specific, workable components. Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels. Proficient experience with scripting languages (i.e., Python, Ruby, PERL, etc.). Security-related certification is preferred, i.e., Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), etc. Job #17735-10
