The Enterprise Access Control Manager leads the enterprise access control program which serves as a primary point of contact and Subject Matter Expert between Global Security (Security Technology) and Capital One’s lines of business (LOBs) providing advice and solutions to mitigate physical security risks as well as enable business processes
Aligns all enterprise access control ID processes and looks for ways to improve processes.
Manage the enterprise access control program including developing the access management profile and profile management process for associates, contractors and visitors and working with LOB to resolve enterprise data quality questions/issues.
Responsible for managing all enterprise access control ID processes as well as systematic troubleshooting of ID cards, access readers to include biometric electronic security devices and/or turnstile and work with internal partners and external vendors for resolution
An “Analytical Mindset” defined by the ability to identify and analyze issues and gather information to determine causes and possible solutions
Develops and reviews policy, standards, requirements, processes, and coordination with LOB and other CS Global Security support groups
Provides trend analysis for continual improvement to leadership and provides solution options for any gaps within support teams
Management of Enterprise Visitor Management System
Lead for acquisition integration projects, identifying risks, planning integration to enterprise access control systems, and coordinating security operations input for acquired sites
Ability to work independently under limited supervision and demonstrated independent judgment while navigating ambiguity
Experience executing moderate to highly complex enterprise access control projects leveraging innovative and creative problem solving
Highly collaborative - ability to create/maintain harmonious working relationships with LOB customers and vendors while positively influencing outcomes
Ability to plan and prioritize work, effectively managing time and budgets
Demonstrated ability to maintain all organizational and professional ethical standards, pursue professional development opportunities, including internal and external training and professional association membership, and shares information gained with co-workers.
Bachelor’s degree or military experience
At least 6 years of experience in security enterprise access control ID management
At least 6 years of experience in security system design in a corporate or government environment
At least 4 years managing teams that include company and contract staff.
At least 6 years of experience in the application of physical security assessment and remediation
At least 6 years of experience troubleshooting access control access levels, readers and visitor management software programs.
10+ years’ enterprise access control for global companies and multiple regional servers and project management, consulting, assessing and remediating issues through partnership with various LOB’s.
Lenel Certified Professional (LCP) or Lenel Certified Expert (LCE)
10+ years’ experience and certification with Enterprise Lenel Access control badging system.
10+ years ‘experience demonstrating an excellent grasp of internal and external business partners and vendor relationships necessary to support our corporate vision.
