The Security Analyst II performs thorough analysis and coordination related to the provisioning, deprovisioning and modifications of user access to Inova managed computer information systems. Exhibits the ability to accurately analyze and troubleshoot user access problems and authorization issues that impact end users from effectively performing their duties. This includes communication and coordination with Human Resources, Inova management, non-Inova entities, and when necessary, Internal Audit. Demonstrates efficiency in the processing of service requests in accordance with established Service Level Agreements (SLA). Thoroughly documents user demographics, system access authorizations, and access levels within the authorized systems. Effectively communicates status and updates with fellow Information Technology members, requestors, and end users to ensure successful fulfillment of requests and IT initiatives. Supports the information security strategy in accordance with Information Technology (IT) policies, standards, and compliance requirements. Demonstrates a solid understanding of regulatory security controls such as HIPAA and HITECH.
