Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent
Minimum requirements to be hired into this position include completion of a technical or vocational school program for Industrial Instrumentation (equivalent military training may be evaluated as a substitute for this requirement).
5 years industrial experience regarding chemical plant instrumentation and control equipment maintenance a plus.
Successful completion of BASF Instrument Technician Hiring Process which includes testing, assessments, & interviews.
Must have technical competencies of knowledge of instrumentation and process control systems, instrument repair, calibration, troubleshooting, root cause failure analysis, general computer skills, and user knowledge of SAP.

This position requires all candidates to either currently possess or obtain and maintain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) Card from the U. S. Department of Homeland Security.
