Provides analytical experience in test design and data analysis methods for joint tests. Coordinates closely with joint test team in developing and writing Risk Reduction Plans, Detailed Test Plans, and Test Reports. Prepares for and participates in Test Event Technical Review and Post Test Technical Review meetings. Applies test methods to adequately evaluate the article(s) under test in a system of systems test environment that may include joint and Service conducted field exercises, standalone test events, integrated application of live, virtual, and constructive simulations, and the capabilities of Service battle laboratories. Responsible for identifying areas of technical risk and risk assessment, determining the influence of test limitations and mitigations on the planned test, and assisting with the development of analysis and evaluation plans. May serve as a data collector and administer surveys during execution of joint tests. Assists the joint test team in analyzing and evaluating test data and documenting results in briefings and test reports.
Must have a minimum of five years of test and evaluation experience, ten years of military or government civilian experience, and prior experience in the development of test and evaluation plans. Must have experience with application of parametric and non-parametric statistics, data analysis techniques, and computer analysis tools, basic modeling and simulation applications, and human factors test and evaluation methods. Must have a current, active Secret clearance with eligibility for Top Secret.
