Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 2 years of experience in cyber security role or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and/or experience with information security in a healthcare setting preferred. Experience with security hardware and software technologies such as IPS/IDS, network scanners, Firewalls, SSL, TCP/IP, DNS and web security architecture preferred.
Job Standard / Operational Needs: -Plan, implement and upgrade security solutions and controls-Establish protocols and solutions to protect systems against unauthorized access and/or destruction-Establish security requirements for networks and devices-Perform network vulnerability testing, risk analysis, and security assessments-Manage select security solutions including Intrusion Prevention, Penetration Testing, and other tools as necessary. -Monitor network traffic for unusual activity. -Analyze security events and breaches to determine root causes. Work with system administrators to eradicate such events. Work with outside vendors to identify and resolve security events
