Chemistry & Biochemistry: The Liu Laboratory in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Miami University, Ohio, is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to support innovative research aimed at developing novel organic transformations to assist with the development of new organic chemistry reactions; maintain an accurate and detailed laboratory notebook of all experiments performed and provide sufficient details to ensure methods and results can be duplicated by others; operate and maintain laboratory equipment; prepare graphical representations of experimental data; collect and analyze experimental data.
Require: PhD in Chemistry; five or more years of laboratory experience; strong publications in organic methodology development; strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask; attention to detail and execution of work protocols in a reproducible fashion; excellent analytical and critical thinking skills; proficiency with computers required. Not eligible for H-1B sponsorship.
Desire: Experience with any of the following: organic methodology development, electro-organic synthesis, electrochemistry.
