The Post Doctoral Researcher for the Center of Excellence in Research and Education for Big Military Data Intelligence (CREDIT) will support faculty in conducting fundamental research in Big Data Visualization. Additionally the Post Doctoral Research will develop research software for deep learning and big data analytics, analyze results, optimize performance, and publish results in peer-reviewed conferences and journals.

Develop research software for deep learning and big data analytics, analyze results, optimize performance, and publish results in peer-reviewed conferences and journals.
Develop and write research papers on the project for journal/ conference publications.
Perform other tasks and duties under general supervision using established procedures and innovation.
Required Education and Experience
Ph.D. In Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
No prior experience required.
Preferred Education and Experience
Experience with various machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.) and big data platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Storm, Spark, etc.) and big data visualization tools (e.g., Datawrapper, D3, Paraview, etc.)
Experience in writing research papers in peer-reviewed conferences/journals.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge in machine learning and big data analytics.
Knowledge in programming skills with a variety of programming languages including Python, R, C/C++, Scala, Java, and/or web development.
