Summary
The Minneapolis office of CLA is looking to add to our growing ISSG practice with the addition of an ISSG Project Manager. The ISSG Project Manager (PM) is responsible for managing client engagements and the staff and business processes essential to the delivery of services to CLA's clients, including the ISSG team members, the engagements and services delivered by the team. S/he delegates work to Security Analysts and Senior Security Analysts as appropriate and is accountable for following appropriate procedures to meet quality control requirements. The ISSG PM provides technical and regulatory compliance guidance and expertise as necessary while ensuring engagements are effectively managed. Finally, the ISSG PM may from time to time assist with client engagement work either remotely or onsite, performing document review, controls testing and validation, or other tasks as directed by senior management.
Key Experiences
- Thorough knowledge of IT audit, compliance and assessment standards across a variety of industries including but not limited to: financial institutions, health care, retail, etc...
- Progressive responsibility executing and managing security and compliance assessments for client engagements ranging from small engagements (1 staff person up to a week) to large engagements (multiple staff for multiple weeks)
- Demonstrates understanding of the significance of the project and impact on the overall business
- Takes the initiative to create the linkage between project objectives and how deliverables satisfy these objectives
- Ensures project team understands how their work impacts the end result
Detail

Other activities may be assigned. - Project Management: Manage the overall planning, execution and delivery of projects. Track project status and manage project issues and risks. Ensure project deadlines are met and determine mitigation if risk of not meeting milestones exist. Responsible for project-specific budget monitoring and management activities. Escalate project issues and risks as appropriate to leadership. Ability to coordinate a team, define project goals, and develop the project roadmap to meet those goals.
- People Management: Build and lead effective project teams. Develop and execute resource management plans. Manage cross team resource dependencies. Understand and manage internal and external client expectations.
